Free Photo Sharing Sites
You may want to share some of your photos with guests after your wedding or party. I compiled this list of a few of the more popular free web photo sharing sites for your convenience. It may suit you to actually have this worked out in advance of your event so that you can provide information either at the event or with the invitation about how to access your pictures.
Another possibility would be including information in the invites requesting that your guests upload pictures they take at your wedding to a specific web site. You can leave cards on the tables with the same information and follow up with the information in thank you notes. Some have had mixed success with this but if you include the information in the invites, on the tables, and with thank you notes it shuld be pretty good.
picasa.google.com - My personal favorite, up to 250MB of space for free, picasa uploader/management software, album/gallery support, public and private albums with password protection, editing including redeye, crop color, contrast, resize, effects. www.flickr.com - Very popular photo sharing site. The free account allows 100MB upload per month. You can upload via tools, browser, email and cell. Flickr supports photo editing, galleries/albums, slideshows. Websharing, email sharing. The list goes on...
