Instead of the traditional wedding cake you can use a cupcake stand and appropriately decorated cupcakes for your celebration. On the cake table you would have the cupcake stand and then a number of cupcakes surrounding it. It can look very nice and help cut costs (no cutting fees, no traditional cake). Collective Sound has one of these trees if you would like to borrow it for your day. Otherwise, they really aren't that expensive at Michael's or Sweet Celebrations.
